French & Italian Comparative Verb Conjugations: Être / Essere
Italian to French Flashcards
All tenses are included (plus present participle/gerund) except the compound tenses of simple past, subjunctive and imperfect subjunctive.
The major difference between these verbs is that être uses avoir as its auxiliary verb in the compound tenses; while essere uses essere as its auxiliary verb and requires the past participle to agree with the subject (-o for masculine, -a for feminine, etc.)
